Is the South-East of Ireland a Good Place to Invest for a Tech Firm?
Tech Firms Investing in the South-East
Hello again, everyone. I hope you all enjoyed my previous blog :). Today I will be touching on Tech Fims and their Investment in the South-East region of Ireland (My home region). I hope you all enjoy reading this blog as much as much as i enjoyed writing it.😆
The South-East
The South-East is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful regions on the island of Ireland. It is known for it's amazing beaches, sea-views and vibrant people. The region is fondly referred to as the, 'Sunny South-East.'Check out this link for more info Sunny South-East. Personally, I love living here (Waterford) for these exact reasons.
Why Invest in the South-East?
In 2020, the CEO of TQS Integration, Ger Finnin, said that his staff can have a better lifestyle here in comparison to Dublin or Cork as commutes are short and people are not caught in Traffic. These positive comments from importanat people encourage other tech firms to invest and setup in the South-East. As I am someone that lives here I can confirm that the quality of life here is great.
The South-East of Ireland is also very accessible for customers, manufacturers, suppliers and delivery couriers. It is also a lot cheaper for firms to setup here rather in comparison to Dublin. Since setting-up in Dublin is very costly, the road infrastructure surrounding the different counties links the region with a large city like, Dublin.
Companies like, UPS have proved to help tech firms with many logistical problems that they may incur. They offer services such as, moving goods, sales support, multi-channel distribution and much more. Feel free to check out this link to learn more :). UPS
